Bevor die lange Tour in den Osten von Senegal beginnt, tanken wir ein paar Tage Energie in der Casamanche. Der Süden des Landes war lange Zeit politisch unruhig und der Tourismus kam nahezu zum Erliegen. Erst langsam verzeichnet diese Region wieder mehr Besucher. Die kilometerlangen Sandstrände um Cap Skirring und das wunderschöne Hinterland sind allemal einen Besuch wert und lohnen die teilweise mühsame Anreise über kilometerlange Wellblechpisten.

In den kleinen Dörfern entlang der Atlantikküste sagen sich Flughund und Gottesanbeterin "Gute Nacht". Der ideale Ort um in der hektischen Vorweihnachtszeit etwas zu entspannen!!;-)

4. Advent in the Casamanche

Before we start the long trip to the East of Senegal, we "refuel" our energy tanks in the Casamanche. Senegal's South was politically instable for many years, which was an obstacle for any tourism there. Nowadays and little by little, visitors come to this region. The kilometer long beaches around Cap Skirring and the beautiful hinterland are worth a visit; despite the tiring trips there over the bad roads.

In the small villages along the Atlantic coast, flying fox and praying mantis say each other 'Good night'. It's the ideal place to relax during the hectic pre christmas days! ;-)
